Marketing

Marketing teams bring great products to life in the eyes of consumers. Building our brands and communications, means building relationships that can last for generations.
What will I be doing?
You’ll be constantly deepening an expert knowledge of our brands – and the people who use them. With that level of insight, you’ll help develop our products’ personalities and bring them to life. That could mean working on the launch of a new deodorant, undertaking research on the latest trends in hair care, looking at opportunities for Flora to sponsor sporting events or deciding how we use digital marketing in our latest campaign.
What do we look for?
A creative flair will see you go far, but marketing is commercially focused and demands strong business skills to actually make things happen. It takes a deep sense of logic, organisational and analytical skills, a head for figures, and great gut instincts.
What will the programme involve?
Over two years you’ll cover up to three placements. You will get hands-on exposure to customer development, working in the field to build appreciation for how our sales and merchandising teams bring our products to life on shelf. You will then complete a placement working with our brand development and brand building teams, working on strategy, real innovations and advertising development of iconic brands like Dove, Lynx, Flora and Marmite. During your brand building assignment you will amplify brand mixes across all its elements and get exposure to commercial marketing. This is a truly multi-disciplinary environment, so you’ll get a broad understanding of the business and how different business areas fit together.
