Diversity and Inclusion
Diversity at Unilever is about inclusion, embracing differences, creating possibilities and growing together for better business performance.
We embrace diversity in our workforce. This means giving full and fair consideration to all applicants and continuing development of all employees regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, marriage and civil partnership, and pregnancy and maternity.

Diversity in Recruitment
We launched a new digital graduate recruitment process designed with millennials in mind that uses digital analysis, removing the potential for unconscious bias. This is well aligned to our drive to increase the diversity of our graduate talent, enabling candidates to perform to their full potential.
We have also partnered with Rare using their Contextual Recruitment System (CRS), which enables employers to find the best and most diverse hires, by setting candidates’ achievements in context.
We have taken further steps to promote diversity and inclusion by removing the minimum requirement for 300 UCAS points (equivalent to 3 B’s at A Level) from our graduate recruitment criteria.
In addition, our graduate recruitment team are available to assist candidates that require special arrangements or need reasonable adjustments to be made in order to complete any part of the application process.
Partnership with upReach
We have partnered with upReach, a charity who supports high potential students from diverse, less privileged backgrounds with the opportunity to apply for a range of graduate and work experience programmes. If you are interested in applying to one of our graduate or undergraduate roles and meet the upReach eligibility criteria, you can apply.
