Diversity and Inclusion

Diversity at Unilever is about inclusion, embracing differences, creating possibilities and growing together for better business performance.

We embrace diversity in our workforce. This means giving full and fair consideration to all applicants and continuing development of all employees regardless of gender, nationality, race, creed, disability, style or sexuality.

Unilever is committed to creating opportunities to improve social mobility. We have partnered with UK charity upReach to provide talented young people with access to top jobs across our business.

The upReach charity supports high potential students from diverse, low income backgrounds to improve their employability prospects and access to internships, industrial placements and graduate roles. If you are interested in applying to one of our graduate or undergraduate roles and meet the upReach eligibility criteria, you can apply to become an upReach Associate. "I was initially considering a career in banking but wanted to explore other options as I wasn't sure of my strengths and which sort of roles would suit me.

I hadn’t considered applying to Unilever before, but when my Programme Coordinator said that upReach had partnered with them, I instantly knew I wanted to apply. The support I received throughout the application process was exceptional, the most helpful part of the process was having mock interviews with my Programme Coordinator.

The feedback she gave me helped build my interview skills and confidence, which meant I was well prepared for the real interview. Looking back, I can honestly say that I would not have applied to a company like Unilever, let alone, secured an internship there, without support from upReach."
